Danish framework for advancing university pedagogy

Danish framework for advancing university pedagogy

Danish universities have developed and adopted the Danish Framework for advancing university pedagogy as a common tool. Based on a shared understanding, the framework must be implemented while respecting the distinctive features of each institution.

At AAU, problem-oriented and interdisciplinary learning serves as the strategic foundation for all learning activities. Student-centred learning is a central principle, as described in the study activity model and reflected in the strategy Knowledge for the World. This commitment is reinforced through the AAU PBL principles and the quality assurance system, as well as through comprehensive support embedded within our management system and overarching pedagogical culture.

At AAU, the framework is implemented and operationalized with a specific focus on AAU's two distinguishing features: PBL and interdisciplinary learning.
