At Aalborg University, we work with knowledge for the world and continuously adapt our strategy and efforts to the world we live in. In today's society, there is an increasing need for Aalborg University's way of conducting research and education because the issues facing the world are continuously becoming more and more complex. It has long been recognised that solving the major global challenges requires collaboration across disciplines, environments and areas of expertise. We are working towards making this possible through SSH-STEM integration.

The goal of integrating SSH in STEM degree programmes and STEM in SSH degree programmes is to offer students at AAU a degree programme that, in addition to their own in-depth expertise, provides them with the competencies and abilities to collaborate with other disciplines in solving specific challenges on a holistic basis.
